The Founding 100

Why we're looking for 100 Michigan landowners

We believe the best way to build Reserved Land is by listening to the people who know their properties best.

We're inviting 100 Michigan landowners to share their experiences, ideas, and concerns about private land access. Whether you've leased your property before, considered it, or never thought about it, your perspective matters.

We're not here to tell you what to do with your land. We're here to understand what you need.

What starting a conversation means

An honest exchange with the people building Reserved Land, on your terms.

Your voice matters
Help us understand what landowners value most, what concerns they have, and how Reserved Land can better serve them.
A direct connection
Connect with the people building Reserved Land. Ask questions, share ideas, and learn what we’re working toward.
Explore the possibilities
Learn how Reserved Land is designed to give property owners control over access, availability, and permitted activities.
No pressure. No commitment.
Starting a conversation doesn’t mean you’re agreeing to list your property. We’re here to listen first.

How the Founding 100 works

  1. Introduce yourself

Tell us a little about yourself and your property through our short interest form.

  2. Let’s have a conversation

We’ll reach out to learn about your experiences, answer questions, and understand what matters to you.

  3. Explore becoming a Founding Landowner

If Reserved Land feels like a good fit, we’ll discuss the opportunity to join our initial group of Michigan landowners.

No obligation to list. No pressure to commit. Just an opportunity to help build something together.

Who we'd love to hear from

You don't need hundreds of acres or experience leasing land. We're interested in hearing from Michigan landowners who:

  • Own wooded acreage, farmland, recreational property, or other private land.
  • Have previously leased or shared their property.
  • Are curious about recreational land access.
  • Have concerns or ideas they want to share.
  • Simply want to learn more about Reserved Land.

Whether you have 10 acres or 1,000, we'd welcome the conversation.

Let's connect

Your land. Your perspective. Your voice.

Tell us a little about yourself, and let's explore whether Reserved Land could be a good fit.

Prefer to talk first? Choose “Phone call” and we'll call before anything else.

How should we reach you?
What can be hunted on your property?

Joining is free and doesn't commit you to listing. We'll only use your details to contact you about Reserved.

Questions landowners ask

Does reaching out commit me to anything?

No. Starting a conversation doesn't obligate you to list. If you ever decide to list, you can pause or remove your property at any time.

I'm not sure I'd ever allow hunters on my land. Should I still reach out?

Yes. Hearing why a landowner would say no is just as valuable to us as hearing why they'd say yes. It tells us what we need to get right.

Am I liable if a hunter is hurt on my property?

Every hunter signs a digital liability waiver and agrees to your property rules before they can access your land. A waiver reduces risk but doesn't remove it entirely, and Michigan's Recreational Land Use Act treats paid access differently from free access. We recommend a short conversation with your insurance agent or attorney — we're happy to share our waiver so they can review it.

Do I need special insurance?

Ask your agent whether your current homeowner's or farm policy covers paid recreational use. If it doesn't, hunting lease liability policies are widely available. We can give you a short list of questions to bring to your agent.

Who sets the price, and what does Reserved charge?

You set your own daily rate, and we'll share pricing data from comparable Michigan properties to help. Joining the Founding 100 and building a listing are free. We'll explain Reserved's booking fee clearly before anything goes live, and nothing is published without your approval.

Will my address be public?

No. Public listings show the county, acreage and general area. Your exact address, gate and parking details are shared only with hunters whose booking you have approved.

Would I approve every booking?

Yes. You see each hunter's name, dates and party size and can accept or decline. You can also block out dates for your family, your own hunts or farm work.

Your land. Your perspective. Your voice.

Free to inquire. No obligation to list your property.
